Boiler De-slags
Boiler slag is a by product of the combustion of coal or other fuels in a boiler. It is a material that forms on the walls of the boiler and can accumulate over time, reducing the efficiency of the boiler and potentially causing damage to the equipment. Boiler deslagging is the process of removing this slag from the boiler, typically by using specialized equipment such as high-pressure water jets and mechanical hammers. Usually this can be undertaken using just hand tools and good old elbow grease. The process is typically performed while the boiler is offline, and it may be done on a regular basis as part of routine maintenance or on an as-needed basis to address specific performance issues.
